Autumn Term

In Science we will be learning all about ourselves and our super senses. We will look at the human skeleton and think about some of the key bones in the human body and how they help us. We will examine each of our senses, investigating how we see and hear and completing taste and smell experiments. This will link to our work in English.

In History we will learn all about Louis Braille and why he was so important. We will learn about and practise using Braille and explore how we could help a blind visitor in our school. We will also explore how the world has changed since Louis Braille was alive.

In Computing we are learning to record a story and add in our own sound effects. We will be recording our own version of the Three Little Pigs.

In Religious Education we will be learning about what it means to belong and who we belong to. We will talk about how Christians belong to God. Our whole school religious theme is Trust.
