In skills lessons, we are focussing on the correct use of capital letters and using suffixes at the end of words - s, es and er.

Silly Animals by Silver Birch

Did you ever see a peacock

Eating pink fish?

Did you ever see a monkey

Eating red bananas?

Did you ever see a slug

Walking down the road?

Did you ever see a crocodile

Wearing pink shorts?

This poem uses couplets and is a funny poem about animals.

A Poem

I like to see

Birds flying high.

I like to see

Rain sliding down.

I like to see

Flowers growing up.

I like to see

Rainbows in the sky.
